This beautiful Japanese traditional clothing storage chest or Tansu from the Showa era (1926-1989) comprises of three stacked sections that makes positioning light and easy.

The front is crafted from Mulberry Wood (Kuwa)— often associated with higher-end pieces and the body possibly Cedar (Sugi) making this a light weight, functional cupboard.
