Measurements:Internal widest point 16 cm, height 16.5 cm, width of opening 7.5 cm. Weight 130 g.

A solid, chiselled torc necklace—known as a hasli or hansuli—from north-west India, most likely Gujarat, dating to the 19th century.

Made from coin silver (low silver content), it is solid rather than hollow. The surface is hand-incised with geometric lines, dots, and spheres, with curled terminals ending in bud or bird-head forms.

Traditionally worn at the collarbone, such pieces are seen across Rajasthan, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, and Himachal Pradesh, worn by men and women, particularly in coastal fishing communities.
