An original signed art glass vase by renowned Australian glass artist Colin Heaney, created in 1988 during the formative years of his influential Cape Byron Hot Glass studio. Colin Heaney founded Cape Byron Hot Glass in Byron Bay in 1982, establishing one of Australia's pioneering studio glass workshops. His work is celebrated for its organic forms, rich colour and spontaneous character, with each piece individually hand-blown and impossible to replicate. Heaney's influence on Australian studio glass extends beyond his own practice through the many artists who trained and worked alongside him in the Northern Rivers.
