Tina Cooper Art Glass Vase | "Martini Series" | Signed 1987

$750.00

An original hand-blown art glass vase by acclaimed Australian glass artist Tina Cooper, from her "Martini Series", created in 1987 and signed by the artist. Featuring a distinctive tapered rectangular form, the vase rises from a substantial square base before gently flaring outward towards the rim, creating a beautifully balanced sculptural silhouette.

Executed in a rich deep pink palette, the vessel incorporates layered inclusions of maroon, blue, pale pink, white and clear glass, creating depth, movement and visual complexity within the form. The interplay of colour and transparency reflects the expressive possibilities of studio glass, where each piece is individually shaped through the skilled manipulation of molten material.

Based in Montville, Queensland, Tina Cooper is a respected Australian glass artist recognised for her innovative use of colour, organic influences and finely controlled blown-glass techniques. Her work explores the relationship between form, texture and light, producing distinctive vessels that sit between functional object and contemporary sculpture.

Signed and dated 1987, this vase is a fine example of Cooper's early studio practice and the vibrant creative development of Australian art glass during the late 20th century.

Presented in excellent condition.
