Australian glass artist Alex Mitrovic is associated with the early JamFactory Glass Workshop in Adelaide, where he trained as part of the studio glass movement in the late 1970s–early 1980s. He was also active in Wagga Wagga, contributing to the development of glassmaking there in the early 1980s.

Alex produced bold, contemporary work that bridges functional design and sculptural form. Mitrovic’s work is widely appreciated within the Australian studio glass movement for its clarity and modern aesthetic.
